For as long as I can remember, I have always been intrigued by the subject of relationships and sexuality. I would persistently research the topic of sex, and I learned more about myself and how to improve my relationships with the use of intimacy and sexuality. When the opportunity came about to become a certified sexologist at the Dr. Rachael Institute, I knew that was my moment to do what I love, talk about sex! I am a surgical registered nurse and in my nursing career, I get the opportunity to talk personally with my patients and ask couples who have been together for years, “What is your secret to maintaining a long-lasting relationship?” The top 2 answers are always communication and intimacy, but I would like to also add in the importance of a healthy sexual relationship, physically and mentally. There has always been this stigma that relationships and sexuality are one-dimensional. I am here to tell you that relationships and sexuality are multi-dimensional. Unfortunately, it’s not talked about enough.
Intimacy, sex, and desire is a topic that is still considered taboo. I want to change that mindset and say that “it’s ok” to explore sexuality. Long-term relationships don’t have to become monotonous when you have the knowledge and the techniques on how to rejuvenate and keep your relationship spicy. My ultimate goal is to make a difference in couples lives by coaching and exploring with you, sexuality and intimacy to enhance your relationship for long-term happiness.. As a certified sexologist, I developed the L.I.K.E.S. Program that specializes in Love, Intimacy, Kinks, Eroticism, and Sexuality/Seduction. These are five areas that have been proven to keep the relationship evolving and alive. I want to share them with you and help eliminate any negative stigma by exploring sexuality.
